Position Summary

The Dock Associate is responsible for efficiently loading and unloading freight while maintaining a safe, organized, and high-performing warehouse environment. This role ensures accurate handling, sorting, and tracking of shipments to support on-time, error-free deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight using appropriate material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner
• Utilize RF scanners to track shipments and ensure accurate package movement
• Sort and organize freight based on delivery routes and customer requirements
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dock areas to prevent accidents and delays
• Perform daily inspections to ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations
• Follow all safety, security, and operational procedures for cross-dock operations
• Maintain accurate handling and documentation of freight
• Collaborate with warehouse team members to improve workflow and efficiency
• Provide professional and courteous communication with team members, vendors, and customers
• Protect company assets and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
• Perform additional duties as assigned
