Which may seem pretty standard…until you get to the best part: The perks.1) The pay rates are above what their top competitors pay their employees2) They have higher bonus structures3) There’s work from home flexibility and prioritization for employee work/life balance.4) The position is a fast-track career growth opportunity (as the company is expanding rapidly thru acquisitions)5) And more…Job DescriptionThe primary responsibilities of this role will be assisting in the management of the consolidated financial statements for public, lender and joint venture reporting under both a GAAP and IFRS basisThis role will present opportunities to work on unique/complex transactions requiring technical accounting assessments and cross-department coordinationAssist in the review of consolidated financial statements for reporting to our parent entity and third parties, which includes balance sheet, income statement, cash flows and other supporting schedulesAssist in the review of footnotes and disclosures required in our quarterly and annual reporting to bondholdersCoordinate with other groups with the Accounting Department, as well as Finance, Tax, Capital Markets, Investments and Legal to manage reporting solutionsManage and coach staff accountants by delegating work and reviewing finished products to ensure they meet stated deadlinesAssist in performing technical research on significant transactions including preparation of the quarterly significant transaction log on both a GAAP and IFRS basisWork with auditors to assist in quarterly and year-end audit procedures including audit requestsMaintain SOX compliance and coordinate responses to requests made by internal and external auditorsTake part of the Company's implementation and transition of new enterprise systemResearch financial statement analytics to include in our quarterly results package to our parent entityAssist with special accounting and financial reporting projects, as neededRequirementsJob Requirements:• Proven experience in Real Estate Property/Facilities Management industry• Extensive knowledge of Accounting Software Systems and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)• Proficiency in using ADP - Financial Services and BlackLine• Familiarity with EPS and Accounting Functions• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Auditing• Knowledge of Balance Sheet Account and Budget Processes• Ability to lead a team and manage multiple tasks simultaneously• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.To apply to this hybrid role, please send your resume to John Sadofsky at View email address on click.appcast.io specialized recruiting professionals apply their expertise and utilize our proprietary AI to find you great job matches faster.Job typePermIndustryReal Estate Property/Facilities Mgt
