A day in the life

It’s the start of your shift in Chillicothe, OH 45601. You complete a quick walkaround of your forklift, confirm everything is in safe working order, scan your first task on the screen, and get moving. Pallets are staged precisely, trailers are loaded on time, and inventory counts stay accurate because you run a tight, safety-first operation. By collaborating with your team and following company procedures, you keep product flowing smoothly through the warehouse.

What you’ll do

• Operate forklifts and related material handling equipment to relocate, stage, and store goods throughout the warehouse.
• Load and unload inbound and outbound trucks with care, placing freight in the correct locations.
• Complete pre-shift and ongoing equipment inspections to ensure vehicles remain in safe, reliable condition.
• Capture inventory movements accurately, assist with regular stock counts, and help resolve discrepancies.
• Adhere to all safety rules, PPE use, and company policies to maintain a safe work environment.
• Work closely with teammates to streamline workflow and improve throughput.
• Immediately report equipment issues, near-misses, or safety hazards to leadership.

What you bring

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Current forklift operator certification.
• Hands-on experience operating forklifts in warehouse or industrial settings.
• Strong attention to detail and a proven safety mindset.
• Ability to lift heavy items and perform repetitive physical tasks.
• Clear communication skills and a team-first approach.
• Basic computer proficiency for inventory tracking and reporting.
