What You’ll Do You will be responsible for leading research, design, development, and implementation of algorithmic modules. You will perform algorithmic concept and feasibility for classical, and ML/DL based computer vision algorithms, including problem analysis, data gathering, literature review, concept selection and evaluation, and implementation constraints. Your Key Responsibilities Evaluate and develop computer vision and machine learning / deep learning algorithms for defect detection, defect classification, metrology, and image analysis on a semiconductor process control tool. Investigate, survey literature, and prototype algorithm approaches to solve complex problems by understanding the customer use cases. Collaborate with other functional teams such as compute infra, SW, systems and applications and productize new algorithm solutions that meet certain specifications. Perform concept and feasibility studies, algorithm validation, and benchmarking on large datasets to demonstrate effective solutions through data‑driven approaches. Write and maintain optimized, production‑quality code and work with software teams to integrate algorithms into the inspection tool. Optimize algorithm performance by efficiently using the compute resources. You will be a great fit if you have Experience working in the semiconductor industry. Strong background in computer vision, image processing, and deep learning technology. Expertise in C/C++, Python and working experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch or similar framework. Knowledge of GPU programming using CUDA or OpenCL. Working knowledge with AI coding tools is desired. Academic background in computer vision, deep learning, machine learning, or artificial intelligence. Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills, along with strong interpersonal communication skills. New Ph.D. graduate or Master’s (with 4+ years of experience) in computer science, electrical engineering or similar fields. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable. For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
