Qualifications & Skills:

• Current, active RN license
• Minimum of one year recent Cath Lab experience
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications
• Proficient in monitoring, circulating, and scrubbing for Cath Lab procedures
• Familiarity with vascular and cardiac interventions, patient assessment, and recovery protocols
• Effective communicator, able to work efficiently in fast-paced clinical situations
• Detail-oriented with strong critical thinking skills

Responsibilities:

• Prepare equipment, supplies, and patients for diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Assist physicians during cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, and other procedures
• Monitor patient status and vital signs throughout procedures, responding swiftly to changes
• Administer medications and contrast agents as delegated
• Provide pre- and post-procedure education and support to patients and their families
• Accurately document nursing assessments, interventions, and outcomes
• Maintain strict adherence to safety, infection control, and privacy standards
• Collaborate seamlessly with multidisciplinary care teams
