Liquor Store Assistant Manager 2 - East Waterfront Drive, Homestead

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Liquor Store Assistant Manager 2 to join our Fine Wine & Good Spirits store at East Waterfront Drive in Homestead. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the smooth operation of the store while delivering exceptional customer service. You will work closely with the General Manager to lead, motivate, and develop a team, drive sales, and maintain high standards of store presentation. As the Assistant Manager, you will oversee and direct daily store activities, ensuring efficient operations and exceptional customer service. You will supervise a shift, participate in various sales activities, and maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment. This role supports the daily functions of a busy retail environment and helps keep store operations on track. Key Duties Store Operations: Oversee store activity during your shifts and ensure that all procedures are followed. Team Leadership: Lead staff by assigning tasks, reviewing work, and supporting daily goals. Customer Support: Assist shoppers, answer questions, and resolve concerns to maintain a positive experience. Sales Assistance: Participate in stocking products, receiving shipments, and helping customers find items. Inventory Oversight: Help maintain accurate stock levels and ensure product displays remain organized. Policy Compliance: Support proper handling of alcohol sales by following all laws and procedures. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements One year as a Liquor Store Assistant Manager 1 or a Liquor Store General Manager 1A (Commonwealth job titles or equivalent Federal Government job titles, as determined by the Office of Administration); or Two years as a Liquor Store Clerk 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or Two years of lead retail sales work.
