Adecco is hiring for a Counter person/Parts Clerk

This is a temp to hire opportunity with flexible 1st shift hours.

Payrate- $21.00-$24/hour, depending on experience.

Position Summary

We are seeking a friendly, customer-focused, and detail-oriented Customer Service/ Parts clerk to join our team. This role serves as the first point of contact for customers, both in-person and over the phone, providing exceptional service while coordinating equipment rentals, processing reservations, generating contracts, and supporting sales efforts. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, parts or equipment experience, and be comfortable working with computers and multiple software systems in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and assist walk-in customers and answer incoming phone inquiries with a professional and friendly attitude.

• Process equipment rental reservations, prepare contracts, and assign equipment.

• Provide accurate rental quotes and product information to customers.

• Write purchase orders.

• Assist customers with parts and small equipment sales.

• Serve as a product expert, recommending solutions that meet customer needs.

• Support the outside sales team and act as a liaison between customers and operations.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming showroom environment.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and coworkers.

• Ensure compliance with company rental policies, procedures, and guidelines. Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service, rental coordination, counter sales, parts sales, or equipment rental is preferred.

• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.

• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to think quickly under pressure.

• High School Diploma or GED required.

Pay Details: $21.00 to $24.00 per hour
