Physical Therapist - Physical Therapy

Founded in 1938, Wilcox Medical Center is a not-for-profit medical center dedicated to providing the Kaua'i community with accessible quality health care. The largest medical center on Kaua'i, it is a state-of-the-art acute care facility with a full suite of services offering 30 specialties and programs, including cardiology, emergency, family practice, gastroenterology, health management, internal medicine, neurology, OB-GYN, oncology, orthopedics, pediatrics and urology. Its 18-bed emergency department serves as the island's Primary Stroke Center. The medical center also has four birthing suites, seven intensive care beds and 20 same-day surgery beds. Wilcox is the first American College of Surgeons-verified Level III Trauma Center in the state of Hawai'i. Wilcox's Physical Therapy department strives to help patients improve function and mobility. We provide services to people of all ages and geographical locations through our many outpatient clinics as well as to patients at our hospitals. Our individualized care plans are delivered by licensed physical therapists and professionals who promote patient understanding of her or his health condition and how to manage it so that they can remain engaged with their rehabilitation, even when they are no longer in treatment.

As a Physical Therapist, you will provide compassionate rehabilitation in the form of physical therapy services and consultation for inpatients and outpatients at Wilcox Memorial Hospital. We are looking for someone sensitive and dedicated, with strong patient care and interpersonal skills and a commitment to delivering the highest quality health care to Hawai'i's people.

Minimum Qualifications: Current Hawai'i Physical Therapy license. Current American Heart Association Heart Saver - AED CPR card.

Preferred Qualifications: One (1) year general physical therapy experience. Experience with Pediatric or Adult populations.
