Local Licensed Practical Nurse

The Local Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or physician. This role is responsible for delivering safe, compassionate, and effective nursing care, assisting with treatment plans, and supporting patients and families in a variety of healthcare settings. Key Responsibilities P rovide basic nursing care including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with treatments. Support physicians and RNs in patient assessments and care planning. Document patient care activities, observations, and outcomes in compliance with healthcare standards. Assist patients with daily living activities and provide emotional support. Maintain infection control and safety protocols. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Ensure patient confidentiality and adherence to regulatory requiremen ts. Required Qualifications Completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse program. Current LPN license in the state of practice. Strong clinical and patient care skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Must have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty within the past 2 years. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in hospital, long-term care, or outpatient settings. Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems. Certifications Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
