Job Summary
MRI Technologist (MRI) Charlotte, North Carolina
The MRI Technologist position supports diagnostic imaging services in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. The role involves performing MRI exams for adults and pediatrics across a full spectrum of radiology exams and diagnoses. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details

• Schedule: Schedule includes 12-hour shifts with a minimum of 36 hours per week; staffing operates 24/7/365, with travelers filling whatever shift is currently vacant per contract agreement, including assignment to 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts or weekends based on need.
• Start Date: 07/13/2026
• Required Qualifications:
  • Licensure/National Certification: ARRT(R) or NMTCB; ARRT(MR) or ARMRI
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Preferred Qualifications: Confident clinical skill sets with the ability to work in a fast-paced, high patient acuity environment; strong communication skills; helpful attitude and teamwork.
• Additional Information:
  • MRI exams support adults and pediatrics from emergency department, intensive care units, nursing units, and outpatients.
  • Department culture emphasizes teamwork and high clinical skill.
  • Call requirements vary and are shared through a rotation across full time, part time, PRN, and traveler teammates; holiday coverage is expected unless approved off in advance.
  • Orientation includes a facility tour and departmental tour with introductions, followed by 5 days of departmental orientation (flexible based on needs).
  • Traveler contracts are 13 weeks, and travelers work the same shift and times as agreed upon in the contract.
