Registered Nurse Nephrology

This position is for a nursing role specializing in nephrology. Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in a related field. Experience in Med/Surg is essential. Observation Unit experience is a plus. The patient population includes geriatric and adult patients. Common diagnoses and treatments include End Stage Renal Disease, Peritoneal Dialysis, and Hemodialysis. Patient ratios will be approximately 1:4 to 1:6. The facility is equipped with various medical equipment, including vital signs machines and IV pumps. The Electronic Health Record system used is Cerner. Preference will be given to candidates with strong skills demonstrated on a skills checklist.
