Overview Citi Trends is looking for a dedicated Store Sales Associate to join our team at one of the largest chains in the value-priced urban apparel industry. Responsibilities Processing freight Assisting with price changes/markdowns Balances register according to company policy Calls out prices for customers when ringing register transactions Bags merchandise efficiently at checkout Handles cash, checks and credit cards correctly and per company policy Obtains management approval for returns, voids and checks Maintains and performs housekeeping duties as assigned Provides proper customer service, including greeting customers, adhering to fitting room policies, ringing transactions in a timely manner, thanking customers, and inviting them to return Follows all safety procedures Maintains professional, neat appearance, including wearing a name tag Assists management in merchandising on the sales floor according to stock levels Assists management with tasks per company policy Explains exchange/refund policies to customers after transactions Supports Loss Prevention procedures, including preventing shoplifting and cash losses, reporting incidents, and following current operational policies Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Excellent communication and organizational skills Flexible schedule including nights and weekends Ability to perform mathematical calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages) Seniority level Entry level Employment type Part-time Job function Sales and Business Development Industries Retail #J-18808-Ljbffr
