Clearance Requirements: Ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Responsibilities for this Position Join General Dynamics Mission Systems in the Progeny Systems Business Area within the Maritime & Strategic Systems line of business. As a Senior Contracts Manager, you'll lead a team of contract professionals, manage key customer agreements, and ensure compliance with laws and policies while driving business success. What Youll Experience * Advises leadership and other functions on contractual rights and obligations and provides interpretation of terms and conditions. * Supports proposal activities, risk management, and contract changes for major programs. * Lead contract negotiations, reviews, and compliance while protecting the companys interests. * Manage and mentor a team of contracts professionals, fostering growth and excellence. * Leverage technology, including AI, to enhance efficiency and consistency in contract management. What You Bring to the Table * Expertise: Deep knowledge of contract law, FAR/DFARS regulations, and federal procurement practices. Self-motivated to stay abreast of the evolving Government acquisition landscape. * Experience: 10+ years of contract management experience (or 8+ years with a Masters degree). * Leadership: Proven ability to manage and develop teams, set objectives, and drive results. * Skills: Strong decision-making, negotiation, and communication skills, with a strategic and solution-oriented mindset. * Tech Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office and adept at leveraging technology for business needs.
