Folkestone Cook Position

Folkestone is seeking full-time and part-time cooks to join our team. This position is eligible for a hiring bonus of $500. The full-time position is scheduled at 32 hours per week, with no weekend shifts. The part-time position is scheduled at 16 hours per week, with no weekend shifts. The cook position reports to the executive chef.

Folkestone is a progressive "green" community located at 100 Promenade Avenue, Wayzata, MN 55391. It features access to pedestrian walkways, shopping and dining, plazas and open space, public art and fountains - all within walking distance from downtown Wayzata and Lake Minnetonka.

Responsibilities

The cook is responsible for creating high quality meals and dining experiences for customers by preparing and serving attractive, nutritious, and palatable meals consistent with regulations and established policies, procedures, and best practices.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent education.
• Knowledge of state and federal food-handling regulations, including food service operations, is strongly desired.
• Demonstrated compatibility with PHS's mission and operating philosophies.
• Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language to communicate with all customers.

Pay Range

The estimated starting pay range for this role is $21.00 - $22.64 per hour. This good faith estimate is based upon PHS's typical starting pay range for this role. Actual pay range depends upon many factors including each individual employee's qualifications and market conditions and is subject to change.
