Registered Nurse - Operating Room / PACU Location: Clearlake, California, United States Start date: 09/14/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Weekly pay: 2,323 - 2,442 per week Guaranteed hours: 40 hours Shift: 4x10 days (typically 7:00 AM-5:30 PM; on-call every third weekend) Setting: Critical Access Hospital Employment Type: Travel - Temporary Assignment This assignment focuses on perioperative nursing in the OR and PACU with supervision of care planning across the surgical services department. Key Highlights Weekly pay range: $2,323 - $2,442 per week Guaranteed hours: 40 hours per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: 4x10 days; typical hours 7:00 AM-5:30 PM Start date: 09/14/2026 Setting: Perioperative services in a critical access hospital On-call: Every third weekend Responsibilities Provide professional nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures and to PACU patients across the age spectrum Monitor patient status during perioperative periods, administer medications, and document care in accordance with policy Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and perioperative team to plan and coordinate patient care and discharge planning Maintain sterile technique, manage instrument turnover, and support intraoperative safety protocols Assist with patient and family education, pain management, and post-anesthesia recovery needs Adhere to HIPAA, infection control, and safety standards; participate in on-call rotations as scheduled Requirements Active California registered nursing license Education: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing Certifications: BLS required; ACLS and PALS required Experience: Minimum 3 years of OR/PACU nursing experience Ability to work in an OR/PACU environment within a hospital setting and to participate in on-call rotations Additional preferences: Credentials in area of practice (e.g., CNOR, PANAC, AAOPU) preferred Compliance: Willingness to meet facility vaccination and health requirements as applicable; E-Verify participation may be needed Benefits and Support Dedicated recruiter support throughout the assignment 24/7 travel support and clinical coordination Credentialing and compliance assistance to facilitate onboarding Assignment-specific guidance and access to resource contacts during the contract PAY DISCLAIMER RULE Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
