Registered Nurse – PACU
Schedule: 8hr Days, M-F, 5:30 AM - 2:00 PM
Assignment Details: Guaranteed Hours: 40 Weekly Contract Weeks: 13
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience within specialty
- Current AHA BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Ability to work 2 major Holidays and 1 minor Holiday
Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to patients in the post-anesthesia care unit (PACU)
- Monitor and assess patient recovery from anesthesia
- Manage and administer medications as prescribed
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families on post-operative care
