As a Junior Paralegal , you’ll work closely with attorneys, paralegals, and litigation support professionals on a variety of matters. These roles are designed for someone looking to build a long‑term career in either litigation or corporate transactions. Firms can offer hands‑on training and increasing responsibility as your experience grows. Key Responsibilities Maintain and organize case files, pleadings, and other litigation documents. Assist with document review, case correspondence, and file management. Assist in drafting and reviewing routine legal documents in Microsoft Word. Draft closing documents including resolutions, form filings, research and statistics compilation, and closing certificates and opinions. Manage the copying, uploading, and distribution of draft and final executed documents to interested parties, by Outlook E‑mail, Firmex virtual document room, and/or Federal Express, as appropriate. Assist in closings by preparing, collecting from various transaction participants, and assembling closing files, DTC letters, final resolutions and opinions, good‑standing certificates, and secretary of state filings, and managing or facilitating the pre‑closings and closings. Review executed documents to ensure proper execution. Keep time records of all billable time worked. Qualifications Completion of an ABA‑approved paralegal program is strongly preferred. We will also consider candidates with a bachelor's degree and at least one year of practical law firm experience in litigation or corporate transactional matters.
