Agricultural Mechanic
This role keeps field and harvesting equipment operating so crops move from the field into a large seasonal food-processing operation without avoidable interruption. You will diagnose breakdowns, make field and shop repairs, and rebuild and prepare equipment during the off-season.
The best fit is a self-directed mechanic with strong hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting skills who is comfortable working on agricultural, heavy, construction, truck, or mobile equipment. Farm-community candidates who already repair their own equipment and dealership technicians accustomed to field service can be especially successful.
Location: Glencoe, MN

During pack season, approximately mid-June through the first week of November, the agricultural shift is 6:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. The normal staffed rotation is 7 days on/2 off, 7 on/2 off, and 7 on/3 off; the first days off may be delayed while startup stabilizes.
