Data Management Analyst

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Data Management Analyst for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Columbus, OH. This is a 5-month contract opportunity.

In this role, the contractor will act as a Feature Product Owner responsible for writing feature-level acceptance criteria, acting as the communications anchor for stakeholders, and refining business requirements for the core banking platform team. This position involves leading end-to-end data projects, from requirement gathering to solution delivery, and providing thought leadership on data strategy and architecture.

Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end data projects, from requirement gathering to solution delivery
• Design and implement scalable data models, pipelines, and governance frameworks
• Partner with business and technology stakeholders to map data ownership and usage
• Provide thought leadership on data strategy, architecture, and emerging technologies
• Mentor and guide other team members, ensuring adherence to best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Business, Technology, Operations)
• Ensure compliance with data security, privacy, and regulatory standards
• Partner with architecture and engineering teams to define target-state data architectures, ensuring solutions support scalability, reliability, governance, and business objectives

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in Data Management, Business Analysis, Analytics, or Project Management
• Digital product ownership experience
• Knowledge of account ledger platforms, posting logic, transaction flows, and/or ledger system architecture
• Experience delivering complex initiatives within Agile frameworks, including hands-on use of tools such as JIRA and Confluence
• Experience working with real-time processing systems, microservices architectures, and event-driven solutions
• Experience working within financial services or other highly regulated environments, with an understanding of risk, control, and compliance considerations
• Data modeling, data domain, and governance experience
• Experience with data mapping

Pay range: $51.72 - $59.72 per hour
