Hand Finisher / Deburrer position available in Monrovia, CA.

Monday-Friday 6 am to 2:30 pm

Working under general supervision, remove burrs, break edges, clean, and remove contamination from machine finished products. Prepare and package finished products for shipment.

Essential Functions:

• Read, interpret, and follow blueprints, sketches and other product/engineer specifications.

• Use hand tools such as swivel blades, exacto knife, scrapers, countersink and chamfering tools, etc. to deburr machine finished products to customer drawings and specifications.

• Use drill press, dermal tools, tumbler, ultrasonic cleaner, cryogenic, micro air blaster, etc. to deburr machine finished products to customer drawings and specifications.

• Remove burrs, break edges, clean, and remove contamination from machine finished products, as required on customer drawings and specifications.

• Clean products with various solvents/liquids as needed.

• Select lighting aids and visual magnification in order to ensure no visible burrs can be seen under various magnification strengths as required by customer specifications.

• Package finished products in polybags, boxes, etc. according to customer specifications and accurately label finished products as required.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:

• Previous experience working in a machine shop/manufacturing environment performing hand-finishing and/or deburring tasks is a plus.
• Must be proficient in reading and understanding blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail skills.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work independently is essential.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and respond to unforeseen requests.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
