Job Opportunity: Locum Obstetrician/Gynecologist

We are seeking a qualified Locum Obstetrician/Gynecologist to begin work immediately in the vicinity of Toisnot Heights, NC. A valid North Carolina medical license is a prerequisite for this position.

• Call Schedule: 24-hour on-call duty from 7 AM to 7 AM.
• Call Type: Beeper system.
• Practice Environment: Inpatient care.

• Management of low-risk and high-risk pregnancies.
• Fetal heart rate interpretation, including NST, CST, and FSE.
• Conducting and interpreting OB ultrasounds, including Level I (viability screening) and Level II (targeted anatomical scans).
• Performing amniocentesis and routine vaginal deliveries.
• Decision-making for cesarean sections and handling complicated deliveries.
• Experience with breech presentations and multiple births.
• Repair of third and fourth-degree lacerations.
• Surgical gynecology skills, including open and laparoscopic procedures (diagnostic/minor only), tubal ligation, and laser certification.
• Current experience with circumcisions is required.

• Must hold an ACTIVE North Carolina License with a clean professional history.
• Fellowship training is preferred.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, specifically MediTech.
• Current certifications in ACLS, PALS, and NRP.

• Average annual deliveries: 650 .
• Credentialing process takes approximately 15 days .

• Referral Bonus: $2000 for any referral who completes 160 hours of work.
• Competitive Pay: Includes a weeknight call premium if called in, and a weekend call premium equivalent to 6 regular hours per day when called in.
• Hourly rate is competitive and includes housing, car rental, gas, mileage (for personal vehicle only), parking, tolls, and baggage fees.
