Technical Inside Sales RepresentativePneumatic and Hydraulic Company | Geismar, LAPay: $19.00–$30.00 per hour, based on experienceSchedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PMFull-Time | In-PersonInside Sales Experience RequiredPneumatic and Hydraulic Company is seeking an experienced Technical Inside Sales Representative to join our Geismar team.This is not an entry-level sales position. A minimum of 2 years of inside sales experience is required.We are looking for someone who has experience working directly with customers, preparing quotes and sales orders, processing orders, supporting outside sales, and coordinating with purchasing, vendors, and shipping/receiving.Experience in industrial distribution, hydraulics, pneumatics, fluid power, MRO, valves, pumps, hoses and fittings, instrumentation, automation, oil & gas, or other technical products is strongly preferred.If you have an industrial or technical inside-sales background and enjoy helping customers find the right products and solutions, we want to hear from you.What You'll DoAs a Technical Inside Sales Representative, you will be an important point of contact for our customers and will work closely with our Outside Sales, Purchasing, Shipping & Receiving, and Operations teams.Responsibilities include:Handle incoming customer calls and provide excellent customer servicePrepare customer quotes and sales ordersSell company products and services over the phoneIdentify customer needs and recommend appropriate products and solutionsManage and develop existing customer relationshipsProspect and follow up with potential customersSupport Outside Sales Representatives with customer and product needsWork with Purchasing to determine product availability and lead timesMaintain relationships with vendors and suppliersCoordinate with Shipping & Receiving to ensure timely order fulfillmentAssist with inventory controlResolve customer service and order issuesMaintain accurate customer and order informationManage multiple customer requests, projects, and prioritiesDevelop strong knowledge of our products and the industries we serveMinimum Qualifications – Please Review Before ApplyingRequired:2+ years of Inside Sales experienceExperience working directly with customers by phone and emailExperience with quoting, sales orders, order processing, or customer account supportStrong customer service and relationship-building skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesStrong computer skills, including Microsoft OfficeAbility to work in person at our Geismar, LA location Monday–FridayStrongly Preferred:Industrial or technical inside-sales experienceExperience with hydraulics, pneumatics, fluid power, hoses/fittings, valves, pumps, MRO products, instrumentation, automation, industrial equipment, or related productsExperience supporting Outside Sales RepresentativesPurchasing, inventory, vendor, or supply-chain experienceExperience with P21 or another ERP/order-entry systemExperience working with industrial, manufacturing, petrochemical, oil & gas, or plant customersCompensation & Benefits$19.00–$30.00 per hour, based on experiencePneumatic and Hydraulic Company offers a comprehensive benefits package designed to support our employees both professionally and personally, including:Paid Time Off (PTO)Medical InsuranceDental InsuranceVision Insurance401(k)Tuition ReimbursementEmployee engagement activities and company eventsTraining and professional development opportunitiesStable Monday–Friday scheduleWork-life balanceOpportunities to learn and grow within the organizationAbout Pneumatic and Hydraulic CompanyPneumatic and Hydraulic Company provides products, systems, and solutions to customers across industrial markets.
