CRT/RRT - FT Night

Job Description:

As a Respiratory Therapist , you will provide high-quality care across our network of hospitals and outpatient clinics. Your role will include delivering respiratory therapies, evaluating care plans, and educating patients and their families.

Signing Bonus: $10,000
Bonus Description: One-time sign-on bonus upon hire.

Key Responsibilities:

• Measure lung capacity and analyze blood samples using blood gas analyzers.
• Perform bedside pulmonary function tests, EKGs, and tobacco cessation education as ordered by the provider.
• Administer and evaluate response to respiratory therapies per the patients plan of care.
• Monitor and document patient conditions, providing updates to the care team as needed.
• Respond to codes and emergency calls, delivering appropriate respiratory treatments.
• Educate patients and families about respiratory conditions, community resources, and support groups.
• Maintain and stock respiratory care supplies and equipment, including cleaning and preventive maintenance.
• Evaluate and improve respiratory care policies and procedures based on patient outcomes and research.

Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate of a CRT or RRT program (Bachelors degree preferred).
• Licensure: Kentucky Board of Respiratory Care License required.
• Certifications:
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) within 60 days of hire.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 60 days of hire.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 60 days of hire.
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) within 90 days of hire.

5. Certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) within 90 days of hire.

Nice-To-Haves
