CarShop is seeking an Automotive Sales Manager to help lead our Sales Team while fostering a culture built on integrity, teamwork, and exceptional customer service. What You'll Do

As an Automotive Sales Manager, you'll lead, coach, and support the Sales Team while helping drive sales performance and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Responsibilities include:

• Assist the General Sales Manager with the daily leadership of the Sales Department
• Coach, mentor, and develop Sales Consultants to maximize performance and customer satisfaction
• Monitor daily sales activities and provide hands-on support throughout the sales process
• Ensure prompt follow-up on customer inquiries before and after the sale
• Maintain an active presence on the sales floor, ensuring every customer receives outstanding service
• Achieve Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) and sales performance goals
• Implement and improve sales processes, policies, and best practices
• Assist the Finance Department by performing Finance Manager responsibilities when needed
• Resolve customer concerns while maintaining CarShop's customer-first philosophy
• Establish performance goals and development plans for team members
• Conduct weekly sales meetings to recognize achievements, share best practices, and encourage continuous improvement
• Support the General Sales Manager and assume leadership responsibilities when needed

What We're Looking For

• Previous automotive retail management experience required
• Proven experience leading, coaching, and developing successful sales teams
• Finance knowledge, including reading credit bureaus, submitting finance applications, and completing delivery paperwork, is a plus
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Customer-focused with a servant leadership mindset
• Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to make thoughtful, timely decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and accountability
• Ability to motivate, influence, and develop others

• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record

Work Environment/ Physical Demands

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Light Work- lifting no more than 50 pounds at a time and/or frequent lifting or carrying of objects weighing up to 35 pounds. This position requires standing and walking for prolonged periods of time and may involve sitting for prolonged periods of time on occasion. This position requires the ability to push, pull, stoop, kneel, reach, grasp. This position involves repetitive motion. Entails working in an outdoor environment during various weather conditions. This position requires the ability to talk and hear.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

Variable hours with ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.

Required Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent. B.A. or Associates Degree a plus. Two-three years' sales experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Valid state driver's license. State salesperson license may also be required.

Preferred Education and Experience

B.A. or Associate's Degree. Two-three years sales experience within auto industry.
