1. Education: A Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
2. Training and Experience: Minimum of two years experience with computer operations/operating systems on personal computers and in a mini-computer environment. 3. Job Knowledge: Knowledge of hardware, communications equipment and programming is desirable. 4. Safety Sensitive: NO.In the interest of protecting the health and safety of all patients, associates, and guests, Unity Health has classified some positions as “safety sensitive.” A “safety sensitive” position is any job position in which impaired performance could result in harm to the health and/or safety of self or others. Any associate that is actively engaged in the use of medical marijuana, even if in possession of a valid medical marijuana card, will be excluded from employment in a “safety sensitive” position. DESCRIPTION: Responsible for all technical and infrastructure aspects of system wide information and communications system. Under direct supervision of the AVP/CIO. Responsible for one shift, five days per week. Incumbent is subject to overtime, on-call duty and call back as required by the organization. Works in well-lighted, air-conditioned office. Position is prone to many interruptions and repetitive tasks. Some travel is required.
