Responsibilities: Operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices. Provides patient services utilizing ultrasound equipment. Demonstrates knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology. Provides patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics. Communicates effectively with staff and radiologists. Qualifications: Education Graduate of an AMA approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program Required Work Experience 2 years of experience Required Licenses and Certifications ARDMS registered in at least 2 specialties Upon Hire Required and BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required RVS - Registered Vascular Sonographer RVS (Registered Vascular Specialist) Preferred or RVT - Registered Vascular Technologist RVT (Registered Vascular Specialist) Preferred Business Unit : Company Name: Piedmont Fayette Hospital #J-18808-Ljbffr
