Job Description

Friends Kitchen & Cocktails is looking for experienced servers and bartenders who are friendly, confident, dependable, and know how to take care of guests.

We’re an upscale restaurant with a lively atmosphere, so we’re looking for people who can move quickly, stay organized, work well with a team, and still make every guest feel welcomed and taken care of.

Responsibilities

Provide attentive and friendly customer service to guests
Take and accurately process food and drink orders
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
Handle cash transactions and operate the POS system proficiently
Manage inventory and replenish stock as needed
Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of bar and serving areas
Adhere to safety and health regulations
Collaborate with team members to optimize service flow
Recommend and upsell menu items to increase sales

Preferred Qualifications

Entry-level experience in hospitality or related fields
Customer service and cash handling skills
Knowledge of mixology and beverage preparation
Familiarity with POS systems
Understanding of food safety standards
Strong communication and multitasking abilities
Problem-solving skills and upselling techniques
At least 1 year of serving or bartending experience preferred
Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable talking with guests
Able to work well in a busy, fast-paced environment
Reliable and punctual
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Good knowledge of cocktails and alcohol is a plus
Professional appearance and a positive attitude
Available to work evenings and weekends
