DESCRIPTION Catering and Events Manager Scorecard Why does this position exist? A Catering and Events Manager is a restaurant leader who is responsible for building outside sales and building the brand. They build the brand by growing outside sales and protect the brand by ensuring that all deliveries are accurate, on time, and to our quality levels. They are the extension of 2nd Mile Service and The Recipe for Service outside the walls of the restaurant.

- Work a minimum of thirty hours per week, flexibility in availability preferred

- Serving as a subject matter expert for catering and events
- Creating clarity on the Operator's vision for catering
- Identifying and implementing signature service offerings outside the restaurant that go the 2nd Mile
- Modeling hospitality with Team Members and guests
- Celebrating Team Member successes in delivering hospitality and excellent service
- Providing input on selection, orientation, scheduling and training of catering and events staff
- Partnering with Training and Operations leaders to ensure Team Members are trained on service requirements for taking orders and executing deliveries
- Reviewing catering processes with Operator and Leadership Team
- Measuring Restaurant CEM and CARES performance to identify area(s) of opportunity for continuous improvement and shares with team.
- Intentionally develop team members in creating emotional connections
- Activating the Create Raving Fans Strategy
- Overseeing Mobile and Online Ordering
- Previous Catering Sales Experience
