Certified Nursing Assistant - Day shift

Location: Dodgeville, WI Job Id: 866 # of Openings: 1 Position Title: Certified Nursing Assistant Location: Upland Hills Health - Dodgeville Hospital Campus Role & Department: Certified Nursing Assistant in the Medical/Surgical Unit Hours & Shift: Part-time .7 FTE Day shift position, will work a weekend and a holiday rotation Role Responsibilities Collect routine vital signs and provide general nursing assistant services Will provide assistance in activities of daily living which includes: personal hygiene, nutrition, mobility/ambulation, maintenance of environment and patient safety Will work under the direction of the RN in charge May be asked to provide unit clerk coverage for the unit Qualifications Requires a Nursing Assistant certification and to be listed as active on both the State of Wisconsin and Federal Registries CPR completion preferred- will need to be obtained upon hire Current BLS certification or obtains within 3 months of hire. Prior nursing assistant experiences are preferred but not required Outstanding verbal and written communications, knowledge of medical terminology beneficial Prior electronic medical record knowledge is beneficial Employee Benefits Comprehensive benefits packages available for both part and full-time employees!
