The Residential Electrician plays a critical role in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential settings. Working typically within a small team of 2-5 members, this professional ensures safe and code-compliant electrical work by accurately interpreting blueprints and engaging effectively with customers.
Responsibilities
- Perform electrical installation and wiring in residential properties
- Ensure safety compliance and adhere to relevant electrical codes
- Read and interpret blueprints for accurate electrical work
- Interact professionally with customers to assess and resolve electrical issues
- Conduct repair work on existing electrical systems
- Maintain strict adherence to electrical code requirements
Required Qualifications
- Valid Electrician License
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in residential electrical work
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency in electrical wiring and circuit testing
- Skilled in blueprint interpretation
- Knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent customer service abilities
- Effective time management skills
