Required Skills:

• Proven experience in computerized tomography (CT) scanning and radiologic procedures
• Proficiency in operating complex CT equipment and digital imaging systems
• Strong knowledge of safety standards, including proper patient handling and immobilization
• Ability to prepare and administer contrast media intravenously following protocol
• Excellent communication skills to obtain patient history and explain procedures
• Ability to monitor patients for adverse reactions and respond to emergencies, including CPR
• Attention to detail in image quality, calibration, and equipment maintenance
• Competency in electronic/digital image management including storage and transfer

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience working with radiologists and other physicians in specialized procedures
• Knowledge of departmental quality control protocols
• Ability to train and mentor new personnel
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements for radiologic registries

Preferred Education and Experience:

• ARRT Certification in Radiography and CT
• Prior experience in a hospital or outpatient imaging setting
• Demonstrated ability to perform CT scans independently

Other Requirements:

• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR
• Compliance with safety standards set by the Michigan Department of Public Health
• Ability to work afternoon shifts starting June 15, 2026
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment with a focus on patient safety and quality care
