We design and develop custom automated test solutions for critical, cutting-edge Defense and Aerospace technology. Our engineers are responsible for the full solution, guiding hardware design, developing custom software, and integrating the completed parts.In this role you will:Develop strategy to turn complex customer requirements into complete automated test solutions, including custom fixturing, cabling, and softwarePresent the planned strategy to internal and external stakeholders in standard design reviews, including System Requirement Review, Preliminary Design Review, and Critical Design ReviewCollaborate with electrical and mechanical engineers to guide design efforts and ensure designs support the planned strategyDevelop custom software in C# to operate automated test equipment and fixturingIntegrate new software and hardware, debug and solve system issuesDevelop Operator Interfaces using test executive environments like TestStandProvide documentation for the software you developed, including operator’s manuals and version description documentsWork with a wide range of electrical technologies including high-speed digital buses, ethernet, analog signals, power systems and moreDevelop primarily with C# but have some exposure to other languages such as C, Python, and LabViewAll About YouWe seek individuals who share our passion and determination. If you’re ready to join us in this mission, take a closer look at the minimum criteria for the position.Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or other related technical field2+ years of experience with Bachelor’s degree in Application Engineering using Automated Test Equipment, Test Development Engineering, or other relevant experience, or recent Master’s degree graduateStrong programming skills with C# or other object-oriented languagesExperience with Visual Studio or other IDE and associated debug toolsFamiliarity with Git or other source control toolsAbility to troubleshoot electrical hardware using multimeter, oscilloscope, etc.Excellent technical presentation skillsComfortable working full-time onsite, 5 days per weekAble to support occasional travel, up to 10% or greaterPrefer experience with test executive environments like TestStand and TestStudioPrefer experience with Spectrum 9100, Spectrum HS, or similar automated test equipmentCompensation: The base salary range for this role is $97,800 to 156,400. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set.
