Pediatric Anesthesiologist
Jackson and Coker Locum Tenens
Jackson and Coker is seeking a Board-Certified Pediatric Anesthesiologist for a locum tenens opportunity in Virginia, starting as soon as possible and continuing ongoing. This role involves providing anesthesia for general pediatric cases in patients aged 2 days to 2 years. The successful candidate will work within a care team model, supervising CRNAs and managing their own cases. Practice Info General cases on ages 2 days to 2 years old Cases include hernias, pyloric stenosis, ENT procedures Care team model in place 466 beds in facility Systems: Expanse, Meditech Responsibilities Supervising CRNAs (up to 1:4 ratio) Handling own cases Benefits Top-rated malpractice insurance Full-service in-house travel agency Credentialing coordinators 24/7 recruiter availability Shift & Schedule Typical shifts: 7 AM – 3:30 PM, may extend to 5 PM or 7 PM No weekends required No night coverage Requirements Board Certification Fellowship in Pediatric Anesthesiology Comfortable supervising CRNAs Comfortable handling own cases
