Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Route Driver in Laurinburg NC you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. Join Allied Universal in a dynamic government location as an armed and driving officer where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents and support daily operations with professionalism. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner while maintaining an armed presence in accordance with post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings grounds controlled access points and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor movement throughout the location observe and report unusual behavior and/or conditions and document incidents in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines.
• Support staff visitors and/or authorized personnel with access control directional assistance and communication during routine operations and emergency situations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A valid firearms permit is preferred.
• An armed guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
