This position is for an Operating Room RN in a surgical center. The unit performs procedures that include same-day and overnight stays. Nurses are expected to participate in weekend rotations and on-call schedules. Shift options include day shifts of 8, 10, or 12 hours with varying start times. 1-2 second calls are required each month. Weekend coverage will include 8-hour shifts on Saturdays or Sundays, along with 24-hour on-call duties. The charting system in use is Allscripts. Floating requirements may include duties in the OR holding area. Scrub color and dress code will be provided by the facility. Additional notes indicate this is a preop area, referred to as a surgical center. Candidates must adhere to policies regarding licensing and certifications. The trauma level and care setting will be acute care. No blocked scheduling is permitted, and occasional midnights and holidays may be required based on the needs of the department.
