• In this strategic role, you will be responsible for identifying and growing new accounts within the Department of State. You’ll collaborate with top-tier engineers and sales professionals to craft innovative IT solutions that meet the evolving client needs. Your ability to navigate the complexities of the Federal Government contracting process will be key to driving revenue growth and fostering long-term customer relationships.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive account plans that ensure long-term success, client satisfaction, and revenue growth.
• Build deep relationships with key decision-makers across the State Department and its bureaus, leading to expanded customer bases and increased market penetration.
• Partner with Engineers, Solution Architects, and Global Account Managers to deliver customized technology solutions that address client needs, including Secure Storage, Network Solutions, Security & Mobility, and Cloud.
• Manage account relationships with senior-level engagements, crafting strategic sales plans, and negotiating complex deals that ensure customer success and profitability.
• Stay ahead of industry trends to recommend innovative products and services that help clients optimize their IT environments.

Qualifications :

• 6+ years of field-based technology sales experience, with a focus on one or more of the following agencies :

1) Department of State and its bureaus like Bureau of Diplomatic Technology, Bureau of Consular Affairs, Bureau of Diplomatic Security, etc. Have In-depth understanding of Federal Government contracting, and relationships within the Federal industry, particularly Civilian agencies.

2) Department of Transportation and sub agencies like FAA, FHWA, FMCSA, FRA, FTA, NHTSA, etc. 3) Federal Judiciary accounts , US Courts, and sub agencies (AOUSC, FJC, USSC, JPML) 4) USDA 5) Dept of Commerce 6) Dept of Homeland Security 7) Dept of Treasury 8) Legislative Branch 9) Veteran Affairs 10) SSA 11) NASA

• Have existing client relationships that you are willing to engage in conversations to compete for their business.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage, influence, and persuade prospects at various levels of an organization.
• High proficiency in cold calling and crafting personalized messaging to initiate meaningful conversations that showcase Client’s solution capabilities.
• Demonstrated expertise in solution-based selling and consultative sales approaches to address complex customer needs effectively.
• Resilient, self-motivated, and goal-oriented with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Proven ability to consistently exceed revenue and margin goals, successfully identifying and closing new business opportunities while expanding existing relationships.
• Strong relationship-building skills, with experience engaging key decision-makers and influencers to drive long-term partnerships.
• Comprehensive knowledge of industry-leading technologies and OEM's in the data center, network infrastructure, cyber security, modern workplace collaboration, and cloud. xuwmhxw

The anticipated salary range for this position is $140-150K plus commission . Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other factors permitted by law.
