State Farm became my third career stop, and it turned into a lifelong profession. Today, our team includes six members, and we operate with a close-knit, family-style culture built on teamwork and long-term success. I’m a graduate of Frostburg State University, where I earned a degree in business administration and was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame. I remain very involved with the university, serving on the foundation board, alumni board of directors, and the college of business board. I’m also deeply involved in my church, where I serve as Chairman of Trustees, financial officer, and a member of the personnel committee. ROLE DESCRIPTION: As Account Associate - State Farm Agent Team Member for Buster Nelson - State Farm Agent, you are vital to our daily business operations and customers’ success. You grow our agency through meaningful customer relations and acting as a liaison between customer needs and agency departments. You improve the lives of our customers by proactively marketing relevant products and services. Grow your career as you better your community. RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage customer accounts and update information in the database. Assist customers with policy changes and inquiries. Process insurance claims and follow up with customers on claim status. Coordinate with underwriters to ensure timely policy issuance. QUALIFICATIONS: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Previous experience in insurance or a related field preferred.
