A Registered Nurse specializing in Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS Tele) is needed in Burlington, Vermont. This position involves working on a Neurosurgical and surgical unit, with a focus on patient care and unit operations. Candidates must bring their nursing license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Location: Burlington, Vermont
• Position: MS Tele RN (Medical Surgical with Telemetry Registered Nurse)
• Schedule: Days shift, Monday to Sunday, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications:
  • Valid nursing license (must be brought on first day)
  • Prior travel experience
  • Large, teaching facility experience
  • A minimum of 2 years of unit experience in a similar setting
  • Certifications: American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS), American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification (required prior to start)
  • EMR experience with Epic within the past 2 years
• Preferred Qualifications: None listed
• Additional Information:
  • Must start as soon as possible; assignment duration of 13-16 weeks
  • All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained
  • Complete work history information (bed count, Electronic Medical Record (EMR), facility type, etc.) is required for submission
  • No block schedules will be considered
  • Bi-weekly orientations are scheduled on Mondays
  • Reliable transportation is strongly recommended as public transportation is not accessible in the area
