Product Manager

Product Manager Opportunity We have an exciting Product Manager opportunity within our Product Management and Commercial Operations organization. In this role, you will lead production planning, product optimization, and cross-functional coordination to ensure efficient product flow, accurate forecasting, and strong alignment across Sales, Operations, and Scheduling. You will play a key role in maximizing value, streamlining inventory, and supporting strategic commercial initiatives. About Us At Seaboard Foods, we create the most sought-after pork. Essential Duties and Responsibilities This list is not intended to be all-inclusive, and other duties may be assigned. Solicit and evaluate new product or boxing opportunities from Sales and assess feasibility with Operations. Support production scheduling, including variance reporting and plant coordination to ensure execution against plan. Maintain long-term production schedules and support strategic adjustments around holidays or demand changes. Manage new item setups and specification changes through PET processes, including documentation and approvals. Collaborate with Business Intelligence to support trim optimization and improve yield outcomes. Coordinate inventory movement, transfers, and opportunities to optimize use of fresh and frozen inventory. Partner with Sales and Pricing to support market strategy discussions and provide operational insight. Participate in optimization forums and cross-functional meetings to identify and execute opportunities. Required: Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Agriculture, Meat Science, Economics, or related field. 3-5 years of experience in meat protein production, product management, or supply chain roles. Strong analytical and data interpretation skills. Proficiency in Excel and production planning tools. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, production-driven environment. Preferred: Experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, and Scheduling. Work Environment Primarily office-based with periodic exposure to plant environments. Occasional overnight or regional travel (approximately 15%). Some exposure to production areas, moving equipment, and temperature variation. Why Seaboard Foods?
