Innovation and application expertise are the cornerstones of our identity and the fuel for our growth.POSITION SUMMARYTo perform tasks in support of the Made to Stock and Finishing PEI area; and to assist in ensuring that the product is manufactured, inspected, packaged and shipped in accordance with established specifications. To ensure that Hose Master and customer standards are archived.PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIESInspect assemblies to prints / specificationsInspect hose and identify leaksUse all types of measuring equipmentRead and understand prints, Sales Orders and Job OrdersTesting assemblies – air and HMS (Helium Mass Spec)Buff and/or PaintAssemble swivelsCover HosesMaintain inventoryTag assembliesPackage assembliesComplete paper work for certificationsEnter Sales Order shipments into courier software programs such as UPS, FEDEX, DHL, USPS, etc.Ready packages for shipment, attaching labels, certifications etc. as sales order requires.Knows and adheres to standards of quality and accuracy requiredAbility to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned.QUALIFICATIONSHigh school diploma or equivalentAbility to understand and follow English instructionsManufacturing experience preferred, but not requiredKnowledge of hose and fittingsKnowledge of using measuring instrumentsAbility to read and understand detailed work instructions and productiondocumentationBasic Computer skills – ability to use office software and courier software such as but not limited to, UPS, FEDEX, DHL, USPS.COMPETENCIESCommunicationValues, Trust and IntegritySafetyCustomer FocusQualityContinuous LearningInterpersonal SkillsTeam EffectivenessPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSMust be able to stand for long periods of time.Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds.Must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week.Ability to use hand and power tools.Good hearing and vision for hose testing.Must be able to bend, squat, stoop, twist and kneel.Hose Master is committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for all job applicants and employees.
