Senior Engineering Manager

Senior Engineering Manager – Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Special Projects Center (SPD) Location: Berkley, MO (100% onsite) Responsibilities Provide engineering support to the AAS Special Mission Pod production contract and SPD sustainment subcontract. Ensure the team has proper skills, tools, processes, and resources needed to execute Statement of Work tasks. Collaborate with Production Operations, Quality, Supplier-Management, Business, and Program Management teams. Develop and maintain outstanding relationships with external customers. Build and sustain a high-performing team. Develop plans, support proposals, and execute major cost-reduction initiatives. Respond rapidly to emerging technical needs in the Advanced Airborne Sensor (AAS) pod production factory and in the fleet. Communicate effectively with external customers and executive leadership. Basic Qualifications Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or a non-US equivalent directly related to the work statement. 5+ years of experience in a leadership role (manager, project manager, team lead, etc.). 5+ years of experience leading through influence and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects, transactions, or initiatives. Preferred Qualifications 5+ years of experience developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and partners. 5+ years of experience managing development programs from requirements definition through design, qualification, fielding, and support. Security Clearance Active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). Clearance must be active within past 24 months. Post-start interim and/or final TS clearance required. Special Program Access or other government access requirements may apply. Shift 1st shift (Day). Compensation and Benefits Pay range: L Level Manager 170,000 – 230,000. Eligible for variable compensation.
