QC Lab Technician

The Fountain Group is currently seeking a QC Lab Technician for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Social Circle, GA. Details for the position are as follows: Pay: $22-26/hr. Shift: 2-2-3 shift, 12:00pm-12:30am 2-2-3 shift, 6:00am-6:30pm 6-month assignment with possibility for extension or conversion based on performance and budget. Responsibilities: Perform sampling activities and microbiological assays requiring precise analytical skills and an understanding of microbiology principles under minimum supervision. Use sophisticated laboratory instrumentation and computer systems (e.g., LIMS) to collect and record data; perform assays requiring precise analytical skills and understanding of biology and chemistry principles. Complete all testing, sampling, in a timely and appropriate manner adhering to aseptic practices. Maintain data integrity and ensure compliance with company SOPs and specifications, FDA, GLP, QSR, and cGMP regulations. Perform laboratory and safety audits as required. Proficient in wet and instrumental methods of analyses. Maintain inventory and supplies necessary to conduct routine testing and sampling. Advanced laboratory skills and basic knowledge of statistical method. Strong technical problem solving skills Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently, and in a timely fashion. Must communicate effectively (verbal and written) with supervisors and peers. Knowledge of most laboratory equipment including but not limited to autoclaves, incubators, Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, or Biological Science with Analytical Chemistry or Microbiology laboratory coursework, and 0–2 years’ experience (required) Knowledge of basic chemical and biological safety procedures (required) Good computer skills, knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint (required) Experience with analytical techniques GC, HPLC, ICP, ICPMS, etc. (highly preferred) Experience with LIMS (preferred) Referral Bonus for any candidate hired. #J-18808-Ljbffr The Fountain Group
