Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Wilmette, Illinois

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity working with students as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting a maternity leave coverage. This full-time role runs from August 19th through the end of October, providing critical services in a dynamic school environment. Ideal candidates possess strong experience with pediatric populations and a passion for making a difference in school-based settings. Both experienced Speech-Language Pathologists and Clinical Fellows (CFs) are encouraged to apply. There are opportunities to provide direct therapy, collaborate with educators and families, and support student communication goals using evidence-based practices. Key Qualifications Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current or eligible state licensure and ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship (CFY) Proficiency in delivering speech services in school environments Experience with pediatric caseloads and IEP implementation Comfortable with in-person and/or teletherapy platforms Strong communication, documentation, and organization skills Primary Responsibilities Provide comprehensive speech, language, and communication therapy to students Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans in accordance with IEP requirements Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure student progress Maintain accurate records and prepare required documentation Participate in meetings and contribute to student support strategies Adjust therapy techniques as needed to address individual needs This position offers a focused assignment, allowing you to make a meaningful impact within a supportive school community. Schedules are consistent and structured to provide stability throughout the assignment. Compensation for this position ranges from $41.40 to $61.40.
