Overview As an Automotive Finance Manager, you will manage the financial transaction of the vehicle buying experience for each customer of the dealership. You will work with lenders to obtain bank approvals, produce the financial paperwork, and consult staff on DMV laws. Responsibilities Work directly with the sales team and customers to assist in the financial buying process. Build rapport with customers to generate referrals and build a customer network. Consult and sell finance and insurance warranties to customers. Produce and submit accurate paperwork for title work and secure funding from finance sources in a timely manner. Achieve monthly objectives. Meet deadlines for turning in customer paperwork to lenders and accounting. Secure and handle customer money during vehicle transaction. Adhere to all local and national regulations and advise the sales team on new or recently changed state laws associated with purchasing a vehicle. Partner with service advisors to assist customers with purchasing extended warranties when needed. Create and maintain customer relationships. Maintain an impeccable reputation with lenders and vendors. Give a proper finance and insurance menu presentation explaining warranty packages. Assist sales professionals when needed to explain lending options and warranties. Build relationships with local and national bank and manufacturer representatives and meet with them monthly. Use advanced computer skills with Microsoft Office products and dealership management systems. Be detail oriented and stay organized in a fast paced environment. Think strategically to find solutions for customers when needed. Be self motivated and a team player. Understand tag and title laws; DMV. Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance or a related field. Have a track record of impeccable customer service ratings.
