About the job Deskside Services Technician
Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota, 55415 (Onsite)
- Provide technical support for desktop computers, software applications, and peripherals.
- Install, configure, and test computer systems and related equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve unique, non-recurring technical issues.
- Ensure compliance with established IT standards and guidelines.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
- Assist in maintaining an inventory of all IT assets and equipment.
- Provide end-user training and support as needed.
- Document issues and solutions for future reference.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience in desktop support, IT helpdesk, or related technical support roles.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with hardware, software, and operating systems.
- Familiarity with Windows, macOS, and enterprise applications.
- Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, or ITIL.
- Experience in enterprise IT environments.
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals and remote support tools.
