A contract opportunity is available for a licensed Pharmacist to support medication dispensing and patient care in a retail pharmacy setting. This role involves ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of medications, counseling patients, and providing professional guidance regarding their medication regimens.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays as needed
Shift options: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
Dispense medications accurately under the direct supervision of the pharmacy manager
Counsel patients on medication usage, potential side effects, and proper adherence to regimens
Collaborate with pharmacy staff to ensure smooth operations and compliance with safety standards
Qualifications:
Active and clear Pharmacist license for the state of Iowa (temporary IA license accepted)
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a retail pharmacy environment
Strong communication skills and patient-focused approach
Location:
Position based in Peosta, IA
