eCommerce (Shopify) Architect

We are working with a globally established, platform agnostic digital transformation agency as they look to expand their team with a new hire to support the Head of Practice. This role will primarly sit within the enterprise Shopify space, as such, Shopify knowledge is preferred, however, isn’t mandatory. Broader eCommerce knowledge is. This business has a very good reputation, some excellent clients across industries, priamiarly retail, and offers the right candidate a great opportunity to further develop their skillset. Responsibilities: Solution Design & Architecture : Lead the technical design and architecture of complex Shopify Plus solutions, translating client business requirements into detailed technical specifications, blueprints, and integration strategies Technical Leadership : Provide technical guidance, oversight, and mentorship to development teams throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring adherence to architectural standards, coding best practices, performance optimisation, and security guidelines Technical Governance: Maintain and evolve the technical architecture of client solutions, ensuring long-term scalability, maintainability, and alignment with their strategic goals Skills/Experience: Deep understanding of eCommerce architecture Demonstable experience architecturing and delivering complex, large-scale eCommerce soluitons. (Shopify Plus ideal) Exceptional communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills, adept at conveying complex technical concepts to diverse audiences (technical and non-technical) Proven ability to collaborate effectively with senior business stakeholders and technical teams Very competitive base salary Fully remote contract (UK) 25 days holiday #J-18808-Ljbffr
