Full Cycle Talent Acquisition Specialist I

Pueblo-County,-Co

Serves as a professional Human Resources staff member responsible for supporting full-cycle recruitment activities, applicant screening, candidate communications, interview coordination, recruitment marketing, onboarding transition, and talent acquisition support services. Reports to the Director of Human Resource Operations and partners with hiring managers to recruit and hire qualified candidates while promoting a positive candidate experience. Responsibilities Coordinates recruitment activities, including job postings, applicant screening, interview scheduling, candidate communications, reference checks, and offer coordination. Reviews applications and resumes to identify qualified candidates and supports hiring managers throughout the selection process. Assists with development and distribution of recruitment advertisements and employment marketing materials. Coordinates candidate communications throughout the recruitment process to ensure a positive candidate experience. Participates in job fairs, workforce outreach activities, recruitment events, and community engagement efforts designed to attract qualified candidates. Assists with onboarding transition activities and coordination between candidates, hiring departments, and Human Resources. Maintains applicant tracking system records and recruitment documentation. Develops and maintains recruitment reports, vacancy reports, applicant flow reports, and recruitment metrics. Assists with compliance activities related to Equal Employment Opportunity requirements, Equal Pay for Equal Work Act requirements, and County hiring procedures. Supports continuous improvement efforts related to recruitment processes and candidate experience. Participates in cross-training activities across Human Resources functions and provides support to other HR operational areas as needed to ensure service continuity, workforce flexibility, employee development, and organizational effectiveness. Supports the One HR Team philosophy by sharing knowledge, participating in cross-functional initiatives, and contributing to department-wide projects and operational support efforts. Attends meetings, classes, conferences, and professional development activities as required or requested. Performs additional tasks as assigned, including filling in for other staff as necessary and/or required. Education Associate's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Public Administration, Communications, Marketing, or related field (required). Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Public Administration, Communications, Marketing, or related field (preferred). Experience Minimum of two (2) years of experience in recruitment, staffing, customer service, workforce development, Human Resources, or related field (required). Public sector recruitment experience (preferred). Education/Experience Substitution Required Associate's degree and two (2) years of required experience OR four (4) total years of directly related experience.
