Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring prior travel experience and AWHONN certification, working night shifts in a hospital setting in Tyler, TX.

Details

• Labor & Delivery unit in an acute care hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM)
• Epic EMR used; experience preferred
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active TX or Compact RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN (Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced)
• Minimum 1–2 years of L&D RN experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

• Candidates residing in the following counties are not eligible: Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, and Morris
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler
• Travel pairs or groups will not be considered
• No more than 3 days of RTO will be approved, and no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation
