About the Position

Job Title: RRT Profession: Respiratory Therapy Specialty: Respiratory Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 19:00 - 07:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of acute care RRT hospital experience License: Current RRT license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS Must-Have: - Minimum 6 months current acute care RRT hospital experience - BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certification Description: This position involves working as a Registered Respiratory Therapist. Staff will be responsible for ventilator management and airway management. Candidates should be energetic, team-oriented, and honest. Patient experience is a high priority. Preferred skills include prior experience with certain equipment and in pediatrics or neonatal care. The unit has a total of 350 beds with a team of 38 staff members. Night shift consists of 1 charge and 5 staff members. Candidates with prior experience in the electronic medical record system are preferred. Respiratory therapy services will be provided in a busy acute care environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent collaboration skills within a healthcare team.
